I've got some sitting here 3 x 1GB sticks (all different makes) and 4 pairs of matching 512MB sticks, plus 5 pentium 4's (lga775) ranging from 2.66ghz to 3.4ghz, plus a AMD athlon 64 (socket 939), plus an Athlon 64 x2 (AM2), plus an army of 512MB ddr1 sticks. plus laptop ram and processors. and a thermaltake am2 cpu cooler off of a foxconn board that came out of an alienware. Plus loads of toys like a KVM, spare 5.25inch driver bay covers, if you can think of anything you need mention and i might have it. If you're interested in any of the stuff above let me know what and i'll starting writing down model numbers and testing ram.
I'm not going to want a lot, i'm a hoarder who has recently been converted to minimalism so it's gotta go!

Take a look at Kyle's 260 and Alex's 285 in that Accelero thread. There's a load of heatsinks needed on the PCB. No way i can manage that with what i got from Thermalright. So, thats means i'd have to get an Aftermarket kit, what's that gunna be? £10 or something. So, this will end up costing me like £30 - £40 for afew FPS upgrade... I don't really see the point. So, unless it's a cheap upgrade, im not doing it.

My husband will try to cut off a 'horizontal-U-shape' piece from teh hdd enclosure, from both sides. It'd be easy for him, he's got the handmanship and the patience (which I don't!). Ya know the card actually "fits", I just can't push it fully into the pci-e slot because it starts touching the side of the hdd cage (the mobo side).
So don't send it for free to me. It'd be a pity since you could be selling it for cash to someone else.
