I-O Data today introduced the LCD-AD172SEW-P, a 17-inch monitor that promises to reduce eye strain by lowering the intensity of the blue light by up to 60%. I-O Data's display also comes with the Eco-keeper function which lowers brightness when the user is not present, and has a low-reflective screen coating that is fingerprint-and scratch-resistant.
The display LCD-AD172SEW-P features an LED backlight, a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, VGA and DVI connectivity, and two 1 W speakers. The monitor is backed by a three-year warranty and is set to become available in early December.
