NVIDIA GeForce RTX Ampere AIB Cards Listed on Overclockers UK, Official EU/UK Pricing Published

What does the EU have to do with the UK prices?

Doesn't wanna go in the basket :D Something tells me we won't be seeing these prices...

Yeah they will sell like hot cakes, so some gouging is expected.

From what my mate and I have been seeing, the prices of the 2070 to 2080 Ti have crashed down.. We've seen a few 2080 Ti's go for like $450, there's one bidding I've seen that had 2 2080 Ti's on a bid for £600... I can't see them going much higher because of the drop and shift with how Nvidia have priced the new releases..

If you're thinking of buying a 2080 or even a 2080 Ti, think about it this way, if a 3070 is say 50% (random number) faster than a 2080 Ti, then hopefully the price of the Ti will drop that bit more.. That said, if the highest priced 3070 is 'only £500', how much are you going to pay for your 2080 Ti?? I wouldn't be paying more than £300 with the postage of the card, why would you??

I also heard that a 2080 Ti Kingpin card sold for $650....

It's a loony bin of graphics cards right now....
Yeah my buddy sent me a link today to a listing for strix 2080 Ti at 2400 PLN, which is roughly £500. That's buy now, no bidding. Guy said "3070 suppose to be the same in performance and listed at 2400 PLN on Nvidia site".

I have seen some go for $450 and I'm thinking how much money are you loosing right now lol It's absolutely mental because Nvidia have 'cut' prices to be more competitive (in other words, they want to win back people because they've really hit a nerve by how much they are charging.....) and decided to put something in at a decent price and that in turn will put pressure on AMD for their new cards.

I guess it's win win for us, but how much they have screwed people over for the price of these RTX 2 series cards, they have to do right this time to get people more so back interest so lets hope that they have the supply to cope with the demand of what they are going to cause... I'm not so sure....

Yes, it sucked so much, that both Microsoft and Sony where convinced to set their base for the next generation of consoles. 5700 series is a succes.

Don't kid yourself because the the previous generation was based on Vega or Polaris. It is strictly a cost thing.

Give them away... One with every i9 or Ryzen 7/9 CPU  Free GPUs for everyone!!

Jokes aside, they have literally killed their own product with making them that cheap and everyone has gone into Lemming mode to try and sell their card, loose so much money on the sell just so they can hopefully get one of these newer ones... I'm so glad I never bought a 2 series card....
Hi,
Yep it was tough to pass on but turns out to be the best decision saw a evga 2080ti ftw3 ultra with hydro copper for 1300.us too and passed.

Consoles are using RDNA2 not 1 and it's not like they had a choice.

Doesn't matter what country you're in, let the price gouging begin...

Indeed.

We already have one company in South-Africa (Evetech) that have listed the RTX3000 series far above the suggested MSRP, a whole +86%, for each one, RTX3070/3080/3090... all of them.

What annoys me the most about these resellers, they will do their utmost to keep the prices that high for half a year or more to get rid of their old stock, as if it's our fault they bought in bulk before a new product launch and at the same time, they will never sell their old stock at clearing prices despite those products no longer retaining their original worth.

It's truly disgusting, this country is one made up of thieves and gougers, fairness and righteousness no longer rule here. There used to be institutions that made sure this doesn't happen but I am sure they are all happily "in-on-the-take" to look the other way.

I am sure South-Africa isn't the only country doing this, hopefully if you are in the same boat, you don't have to feel so alone. This world has truly gone to the dogs, the average working Joe just can't forget his troubles or get ahead, it's truly disgusting.

I see 2080Ti FE on Amazon France at 2200 euro still. The AIB's are still 1200 euro. Some sellers prefer to lose all the money instead of a part of the money, I guess.
