Rage the machine isn't providing more fiber!! Not optic, the poo kind, getting old is hard.


The last Metallica album that was good was S&M. Since then is been solwly softer stools. Much like the now Rage with the machine, F U do what they tell you, bran flakes and hip replacement..... The whole 90s scene sold out to fame, money and the machine.

How exactly is it a contradiction in ideals and cultural significance? Youre OK with Def Leopard, Journey, Avril and A-Ha but not Metallica? Seems like you just want to jump on the Metallica hate bandwagon.

I've, until now, avoided this thread for that very reason. There is no space in my mind that includes Metallica, Fortnite and LEGO. I see that world does exist but I don't want to visit there.

You mean the "lazily add an orchestra to songs not made for orchestra" albums? No Leaf Clover is really good, but in every other respect it's "let's add an orchestra to a thing not made to have an orchestra". St Anger came from some place at least, they were trying to do something real with it. Their later stuff (and S&M) never struck me as anything other then "let's try to find our way to Our Roots", meaning "we're out of ideas".

Which isn't to say I blame them for it. If I was a financially and culturally comfortable old man I probably wouldn't see a reason to go to cool places. Maybe a child of a band member should die, or something, and then maybe we would get cool music again. The band have the skill and James have the talent for lyrics; a little push might be all it takes.

Any thing ?, getting your music heard in a large player base game why the uck not ?. I wish more music i like was in more games although i despise Fortnight figures.
