The store I purchased my RTX 5090 from, Pichau (literally one of the largest PC shops in all of Latam, and up until now my favorite, I use many of their components on my machines), is supposed to send it within a week (8 April), having waited for it since January 30. But somehow, I have a gut feeling they are not going to honor the absurdly lengthy "pre-order" period they asked of me regardless.

Ghost of Covid paid me a little visit again. I've been really down on my luck this month, it seems. It's strange - not strong enough to make me actually feel sick, but feels like air is super heavy and Coca Cola is tasting like machine oil, just like last time. Feels like the mildest flu I've ever got and that's what's so annoying about it. It's just enough to make me feel it's there.
My oldest dog passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. He had been with us for 14 years. Every evening, right around this time, he'd bark asking for his dinner - tonight, it is unusually quiet. He will be missed.

you ever encounter any difficulties with getting G-sync/Freesync to "detect" Genshin after a clean install? HSR catches on immediately but I have to wait anywhere from a day to a week for Genshin to magically do its thing

Got sick again. For about 5 days now I've had a very high fever that oddly enough came with no other symptoms. Suspected a generalized infection, now I'm on antibiotics, amoxicillin with clavulanic acid really kicks you down, I guess it must be working because I feel like death and it seems that no matter how much I drink, I appear to be very badly dehydrated. The heat wave doesn't help.
In case someone wondered why I've been a little more quiet than usual, I finally caught Covid. All the symptoms of a nasty flu, but recovering fast. Just because it ain't on the news anymore, it doesn't mean that it's not out there. Stay safe, folks.Happy birthday man!
