Bykski impressed us before with its 30-mm-thick RC (red copper) radiator, today we examine its bigger brother. The equally new TK60V2 is 60 mm thick and a triple-row radiator that also uses a copper core instead of brass in an attempt to achieve excellent thermal performance and scaling with airflow.

Wow, Byski rads are far more substantial than i think anyone anticipated. Having the ability to hang with hwlabs?! Who would have guessed? And for so much less, they can be a game changer for many.
Well done VSG!

Very good radiator indeed, and the price makes it even more attractive.

About this:
"especially as there are now better performance/noise fans than the NB-eLoops used here"

Can someone give me more information about those fans?

Yeah that Phanteks linked above is a good bet if you have the room for them. In general, many of the fans covered here are good for radiators: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/?category=Fans

I see, but I'm using a 420mm radiator with 140 mm NB-eLoop.

Any fans better than the NB-eLoop at this size? I know they are a few years old and the review I used to guide me is from 2016:

That's my review so I am glad it came in handy. If you have a radiator that is low on airflow restriction then don't bother swapping fans, those 140 mm eLoops are still very good in pushing air through lower restriction scenarios.

Which case would be suitable for this radiator and the T-30 Fans? I mean, this combination is 90 mm thick.

At Aliexpress there is also a 480mm Version.

Yours came with a plastic plug in the g 1/4 thread but mine was empty. I can say its robust and performs well. I just had a little difficulty with the screw holes.

Whats the take on Bykski radiators? Do they need to be flushed before use (to remove factory debris)? Heard Corsair ones dont need to be flushed

The pe series is barely average from what i remember. If you want an ek rad and you have the room, try to score a ce or xe series.

If you look at the xtremerigs radiator review round up, it's actually one of the best rad out there. Arguably better than GTS 360. Much better flow rate. GTS 360 is even more restrictive than waterblocks. PE360 restriction is negligible.

PE-TT-W-10DT.png
Nemesis-360GTS-TT-W-10DT.png

PE360 being better (imo) the downside is the 8mm more thickness (30 vs 38) and worse build quality. I would love to see PE360 in @VSG 's test bench and his opinion.

I actually have both installed in my case right now. GTS360 top mounted with 3x Noctua A12 fans, PE360 front mounted with 3x Noctua A12 fans and EK pump res combo. I can test them with turning the fans off but i don't think result will be reliable.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. VSG already reviewed the pe series 480, thats where i remember seeing the poor marks. Your gts on the other hand is top notch. You wont find a better thin rad.

It doesn't mean your loop wont perform well. Just that the pe isnt the best thin rad out there.

Thanks for the link. Interesting results. Different than xtremerigs results.

I did my poor test. Results are almost identical. PE360 performed tiny bit better which i think because they are mounted front. The test is nowhere near reliable. Just for fun.
220W constant stable mining workload rtx 2080. Cpu is idle.
A12 fans 1000 RPM fixed.
48C water
58C core
69C hotspot
68C vram
64C vrm

Enabling all 6 fans(using both rads together) dropped 4C from the water and all the components after equalization. 44C water/54C core.
Maxing out all 6 fans to 100% pwm/2000 rpm drops 10C from both water and core so 38C water/48C core.
Ambient temp should be low 30's(should be high 20's with PC off) but there is a consant heat build up in the room. PC off vs PC on makes quite a bit difference in ambient temp.

Pump speed is 100%. It makes quite big difference in heat transfer between die and water. As you can see it's 10C delta between core and water at max pump speed. If i switch from 100% to 40% pump speed, gpu core temperatures instantly jumps 5C in this relatively light workload. Water temperature drop as it should as well, losing die-water heat transfer efficiency.

Pump whines crazy at max speed so lower pump speed is more practical in virtually silent room. So i think GTS 360's flow restriction harms the cooling here. My system isn't even restrictive. I have the Phanteks cpu-gpu waterblocks which are low restriction blocks. PE360 low restriction as well. The pump is legit EK D5 pump res combo.

I'm curious what would be the results if @VSG test these rads with an average pump power in mind intead of fixed flow rate. What i mean by this: using legit d5 pump at fixed silent RPM (40%-60% pwm i think, going higher makes noise and kills the purpose of silent custom loop system) along with other components like cpu gpu blocks to create more realistic flow restriction/flow rate. ''D5 pumps are capable and flow restriction doesn't matter'' this thinking is wrong in my opinion.

I think what hes saying is that even with todays cpu and gpu blocks the restrictions are so little that a d5 can overcome it easily and still maintain an ideal 1gpm. Thats what reviewers shoot for when they set up the test beds. So adding blocks wont make a difference for their testing purposes.
Unfortunately d5s are a hit or miss proposition. Some are whisper quiet, while some are loud as hell! I have 3 of them and they all have their own tone at 100%. So i naturally chose the 2 that are as close to silent as possible at 60-70. The way that you mount them can have alot to do with the amount of noise they generate as well. If possible try to use gel pads or rubber washers rather than hard mounting them to your case.
If its still under warranty ek is really good about taking care of loud pumps so dont just suffer in silence if its under warranty.
