They are MT3 which for some is worse. I have a set /dev//tty and haven't had any issues with them. It's also about the base and the switches. Don't like them for gaming though.
Those cables have been all the rage for a while now. The materials aren't cheap and they aren't cheap to make. I won't argue that it isn't silly in ways even if kinda fun. But it's not silly because of the cost at all. It's not just the aviator connector either. It's silly because gold connectors, sleeving, shrink wrap are all silly for stuff like USB keyboards and mice to start with. These cables are just adding more overkill to it but rather than pretending it does something it's just "because it's cool damn it" which is at least honest.That color scheme somehow looks better on a Kb than on the fans, but it's still fugggily AF IMHO...
and that gawdy-awful $75 cable with the gawdy gigantic connector... ummm...

If it helps, I think the colors look better on a keyboard than on the fans.I might have to get me this keyboard in Noctua yuck beige and brown just for the perversity of it lol.
My Noctua NH-D14 is 11 years old now and going strong, but my poor eyes have had to look at those beige and brown fans the whole time. Pity me!
