my post was in response on where to backup data, not what a backup is.
so he asked where would you backup 4TB of data other than a 4TB drive? My response was raid. 3 2TB in raid 5, etc.
backup indicates software, raid is a hardware redundancy. This is a hardware thread. your backup comment isn't relevant or on topic.
