I been noticing my gpu temps on the rise lately. Its only few month old and i have already repasted few times and everything seems very consistant. temps when playing Siege are 65to66c hot spot can hit 91ish but mostly around 87ish. I was reading that anything under 100c n the hotspot is high but ok is this true ?
Also when i open the case it drops 1 or 2 c but not on the hotspot
using artic silver 5 and what prompted me to do a repast was i was getting higher hotspot temps with the stock paste

Maybe try PTM. MX-4 was good for me, but i have not repasted a card since around 2021. Also try to undervolt it or power limit of 85-90% that should drop your hotspot by a few degrees with no noticeable performance loss.

Didn't used AS 5 but TF 8 on my GPU, we have roughly same TDP 280 Watt for our cards, when GPU is 56 C hot spot is 67C on mine, VRAM 48C. Repaste is like 5 months old.

High load GPU for my setup.
HD2 at 1440P Native scaling 3x 92 mm fans @ 1300 RPM +1 on the back @1000RPM GPU can have an average of 65 C in this game but, hotspot difference remain of 13-14 C not more.

You have a 25 C difference maybe is time to repaste but, change TIC with something else.
Also check you VRAM temps is more important than GPU and Hotspot.
You have a sensor called Memory Junction, in Hw info.

I am going to try the undervolt to see what happens

I use liquid metal because of that. It virtually never wears or pumps out. Temperatures are rock solid. PTM7950 is also a very good alternative. You just apply it and forget about it until something breaks so you disassemble it anyway, PTM7950 doesn't degrade over time.

I tried a few TIMS on my card, stock was the best lol.. but I am running a Heilos pad now, temps are awesome, better than stock even after about 9 months.

You have a card for a few months and already repasted it multiple times. And you are hoping it will improve?!

You should have either RMAd it or just kept your hands off it. OCD and hardware are a very bad mix. I think you created your own problem here.

I have a update
I picked up some MX-6 to replace the Artic silver 5 which i had for years and i think was old no good anymore. So far since i repasted with the MX-6 the temps seem better. Like 9c better before playing Siege i was getting 65c now its 56 57c maybe make it 60c when it gets little warmer in here but so far so good.

You picked up the worst solution possible. The temps are great until it pumps out, and it will, quite soon enough. But if you like to open up your card every month or so, then it's fine I guess...
As people already suggested, the only long term solutions are LM, PTM7950 or maybe a carbonaut (for the lazy, and no I don't trust kryosheet).

I wouldn't use LM, they do pump out(see Ps5). What's the issue with kryosheet?

that's your MISTAKE. Mine mistake too, with few GPU and a "gaming" laptop. Don't bother within warranty period, just give it back if you are not happy with smth. ;)

LM doesn't pump out.
PS5 heatsink is a garbage lvl material quality, so it corrodes and (probably) absorb too much of galium.
Kryosheet is too brittle and conductive, what could go wrong. If I need to nail polish all the SMDs to use that piece of sheet safely, I'd rather use LM then. It's superior regarding temps.
PTM is the most sane long term solution for people that don't want to bother with an extra steps.
Carbonaut is even more foolproof, but with obviously worse cooling properties (compared to PTM and especially LM).
