I have recently bought a GT70 Haswell/GTX780M laptop.
I feel that the laptop runs a little hot and I have also witnessed artifacting on a couple of occasions and what seems like temp related graphical glitches on another.
From just one 3DMark benchmark, I getting 91C on the GPU and 82 C on the CPU.
From the years I have owned and overclocked desktop CPUs and GPUs, these sort of temps are somehow ingrained in my unconscious mind as not just being too hot and thus damaging to the cores, but totally beyond the pale of acceptability.
Over on a laptop centred forum however, these temperatures are being hailed as just fine. This is the first time I am seeing these kinds of temps being viewed as acceptable and perfectly 'normal'.
Any of you knowledgeable types out there got anything to say on this matter?
