NZXT has officially rolled out its Beta classic chassis, targeting value minded LAN-going gamers. The mid-tower steel case measures 200 x 430 x 501 mm and weighs around 7.28 kg. The result is a case big enough to fit four external 5.25-inch drives, 5x 3.5-inch hard drives, and large 10.5-inch performance graphics cards. Inside, the Beta case is all painted in black. For good air circulation, NZXT has prepared mouths for 4x 120 mm fans (1x front, 1x rear, and 2x side) and a meshed front panel that improves airflow. The front mounted 120 mm fan can be 38 mm thick, to maximise airflow even further.
"Given the current economic conditions, we wanted to offer gamers a sleek, sturdy case built for performance and maximum expandability without breaking the bank" said Johnny Hou, Chief Designer at NZXT. "Beta provides the perfect solution for a sub $1,000 PC and will give gamers multiple options when configuring a rig with phenomenal value."
The Beta will be available in May at an MSRP of $49.99 . For more information on the case click here.
