NZXT has officially rolled out its Beta classic chassis, targeting value minded LAN-going gamers. The mid-tower steel case measures 200 x 430 x 501 mm and weighs around 7.28 kg. The result is a case big enough to fit four external 5.25-inch drives, 5x 3.5-inch hard drives, and large 10.5-inch performance graphics cards. Inside, the Beta case is all painted in black. For good air circulation, NZXT has prepared mouths for 4x 120 mm fans (1x front, 1x rear, and 2x side) and a meshed front panel that improves airflow. The front mounted 120 mm fan can be 38 mm thick, to maximise airflow even further.
"Given the current economic conditions, we wanted to offer gamers a sleek, sturdy case built for performance and maximum expandability without breaking the bank" said Johnny Hou, Chief Designer at NZXT. "Beta provides the perfect solution for a sub $1,000 PC and will give gamers multiple options when configuring a rig with phenomenal value."
The Beta will be available in May at an MSRP of $49.99 . For more information on the case click here.

Oh I'm lovin the PATA drive

50 bucks and it looks slick if it comes with the pata im sold for sure

^

I think more case manufacturers should make cases with all black interiors, its saves us from having to make a hash of spraying it further down the line. That awful grey primer they use makes me shiver.

It would be awesome if they released more colors too. Maybe a black case with a red or white interior stuff like that. It would be more appealing to me and im sure most of us. Not that I have any problem with DIY.

wow really nice for $50

no way to go ninja with the cables though...

Where there's a will there's a way :)

sata I heard ssd 0_o

cheap case for cheap hardware

interior is exactly like my nzxt alpha except its already painted black. i had to paint mine. the outside doesnt look that nice but hey its $50.

Not bad for 50 bucks. Also, Im sure there is a way to hide the cables or you can make some cut outs yourself.

This case just screams MOD project :)

same case as the Apollo albeit a few cutouts and black paint very nice case........the bezel is different though; like it or not that's up to each of us;)
