Loved the guy, he came across as real as you can on the internet which is a hard thing to do. Really missed but always remembered.
 
I have some pieces parts I can donate if we are building another rig or a 3rd after @bogmali 2.... at least 600 watt psu and an itel AIO cooler. CAn dig for more. Least I can do I won one rig a while back for my daughter

edit I have a case and and a ASUS PRIME B550 MOBO as well what and when are we doing this guys/gals?
 
If we can get @phill on here and see if he can generate some interests on the WCG and F@H side

Hey guys, apologies for my lack of presence about the forum, I wish I had more time for things that I'd actually like to do :laugh:

If anyone and everyone can organise anything for give aways and such, you all have my blessings and carry on :) I've been trying to get some interest with a few giveaways my side of the pond and such but its not always so active which I find is a massive shame..

I can always do the usual message to everyone in the team from WCG and send a team message out to everyone, hopefully that might get some interest.. We can if you wish, make a thread for a specific giveaway if you wish, otherwise in Kreij's thread I believe its as fitting as ever...

I must also chase up my mate I donated a PC too last year, the monkey still hasn't installed WCG or Folding or even used it much, so I've gotta get that sorted out as a priority!!

Have we got any ideas for some smaller prizes or anything that we can also offer up?? Maybe SSD's (NVME or SATA, I don't think either should be ignored) maybe a CPU and possibly a GPU giveaway again?? I was toying with the idea of if we are doing giveaways to try and make it a little bit more for the people that have a single machine but are still pushing that and wondering if we can do something to help with increasing their performance for the team, since they are putting in whatever they have right now...

Anyone's thoughts?? :)
 
I have 2 full rigs that I can donate and possibly other components. I'll post additional pics later. Unfortunately, I can only ship to CONUS for the stuff that I am giving away.
 
I have a cooler or two I can donate and will dig through my crap and see what else I might have.
 
Some kind soul told me that either way we do this, Dean would be happy so with that being said-I am going to giveaway the two rigs that I have in Dean's memory. I might have to do this every year just to remember his legacy here at TPU. The requirement for participants is you have to be a member here for a minimum of one year. Reply with an "I'm in" to be entered into the drawing that I will do on Christmas day. I am only sending to US addresses due to postage cost so please do not reply if you are located overseas.

So, way long time ago, Kreij had a set of bullets as his avatar. They were very shiny and silvery. Does anyone know anything about that avy, or even remember it?

I kind of remember that avatar. I don't exactly remember what it looked like though.
