^look into dev mgr for audio devices and check which driver are you using for realtek, intel.... i had the same problem and one device (intel audio) was installed without driver. after manual selected drive for intel hd it started working again.
If you are answering to my question, then I must say that I've no realtek driver installed, I've only installed the APO Driver from Alanfox and after that, I've uninstalled it. I've also tried with the driver provided here, the AAF Optimus.

The issue is that I have a stream that comes as PCM format already in 5.1 channels. What I want is to send this stream through the HDMI but compressed and encoded with Dolby Digital Plus (I managed to have this working with the APO Driver from Alanfox) or even better, with DTS.

I've tried all drivers and methods, readed a lot on this forums, but can't get DTS working. Never.

So what I want to have is, the same I get a "Dolby Digital" format between the list of availability for my HMDI out, one with DTS format. This way when the TV device sends the audio to my decoder (optical wire) it will have a raw bitstream format which the decoder will decode as DTS to get the output to the speakers.

So, can anyone help please with this? How should I configure the driver to get DTS encoded through my HDMI output? As I said, the sound chip in motherboard is realtek ALC233 and HDMI output is from Intel UHD integrated graphics (630 I believe)

Suddenly curious, what's the last HDA version ?
From my mod driver or the official driver?

hello, im having issues installing the audio driver 9757
it constantly bugs out, i uninstall everything and reinstall it but then my volume slider and none of the effects work
i have asus s1220a with klipsch promedia 2.1 thx, im not sure if im installing it wrong

the choices i picked for the installation is
realtek audio console v2
aaf bus driver
realtek asio controller
dts:x ultra with main processing and dts sound unbound
dolby atmos

when i reinstall the drivers usually none of the apps install with it
Be careful not to install too much to avoid problems. The focus of this project is on as many APOs (Audio Processing Libraries) as possible, but I recommend installing just one.

But how can I get DTS compressed format (two channels) with your driver?. It doesn't work for me. After I've installed it there is no DTS format to select between the available formats for my HMDI output. Only the different bit rates as normally.

Does this driver works with HDMI/SPDIF ends? Because what I want to achieve is a digital format to send to the TV and then the TV could send it, untouched, as raw bitstream, through the optical wire.

I can have Dolby Digital output with the AlanFox modded drivers and it works flawlessly. But with AAF Optimus driver I can't get neither. So no Dolby Digital format and also no DTS format, wich is what I really wanted.

Unfortunately not. This driver is intended exclusively for Realtek audio chips.

Ok. I understand it now. So my chip is realtek but the issue is that this driver is only for analog outputs. This driver is for Realtek but ONLY IF IT'S BEING USED THE ANALOG OUTPUTS to speakers or headphones .

The only one for digital out is the AlanFox one then. But problem with that driver is that DTS doesn't work.

So, there is any hope that in the future this one could work with HDMI or SPDIF optical ends?

Note: and thank a lot for the clarification.

so what would you recommend i shouldn't install together?
also when i go through the setup process it doesnt install a driver on my high definition audio controller
it just stays the same

and what are the differences for all the dolby atmos options?

Yes, through a mod based on the generic Windows audio driver that I already have ready, but that I am improving and updating its features.
SPDIF optical ends?
The Realtek driver referred to here already supports S/PDIF (depending on the device, because not all have it). It just doesn't support HDMI.

NEW VERSION RELEASED!

Do you already have any other WHQL drivers installed for this device?

DTS:X Ultra and Dolby Atmos.
and what are the differences for all the dolby atmos options?
According to Dolby itself, the Speaker System variants, compared to the traditional ones, have virtual speakers created to enhance the Dolby Atmos experience. Gaming variants have extra application interface customization and gaming optimization features.

These are really great news. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if there are future releases wich works for HDMI outputs (Intel, nVidia, AMD).

Hi.

When installing version 9761, the DTS:X Ultra app does not recognize external speakers or headphone devices, so the features of the DTS:X Ultra app are not enabled. I had no issues with version 9757.

I used to own Asrock H470 Steel Legend, it used AL1200 as well, and DTS didn't work.
Last 2 week I have upgraded to Asrus Prime. and it works like a charm.
