Activision Officially Announces the Next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Activision has confirmed previous rumors and leaks by officially announcing its next Call of Duty game as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The next Call of Duty will launch on November 10th. The latest teaser trailer was released by Sledgehammer Games, the developer behind Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII, and while it does not show a lot, it does show some familiar faces from the previous Call of Duty titles.

The announcement confirms previous rumors that showed up back in May, which speculated that the game would be called Modern Warfare 3 and be a proper sequel, with a full campaign, multiplayer, and zombies mode.

When are people going to stop buying these games? Modern Warfare 3? Seriously? Not only that, but it's only been a year since the release of the 2nd Modern Warfare 2(also, Seriously?).

The last COD was Ghost and I said no more but got suckered into buying BO Cold War and barely played it. If they can go back in time like original COD MW/2/3 then I'll buy it. BO 1/2 were great as well. Given how trash COD series has been since BO2, it's just another trash.

This has been my vibe with every CoD after the initial Modern Warfare, yeah the PS3 one.

Still have it. I did try later CoDs but yeah. The game is in stasis for a good 16 years now, total waste of time unless you just can't get enough of respawning. There's probably less innovation here than in your average FIFA. At least in the sports games players get a new shirt from time to time... in CoD you get zombie mode. As if it wasn't that already in the base game...

On PC they've included a anti cheat program, Ricochet as they called it.
I'm playing MP, and sometimes DMZ (the "light" Warzone), don't see cheaters on every corners.

I think Solo game can be doable, The Witcher III, Wolfenstein, even Oblivion are not so bad ports given the switch hardware

Yes, and was the last good move in Cod solo games ...
Wait ... the last missions of Cold War were great, really !
But usually the solo game is dull, i don't know if the dev' have played an another FPS than COD in their lifes ...

The only reason i still play COD, is because it's a multi platform game :/
My (stupidos) friends plays on XBox or PS5 and we can meet and play around theses games ...
I hope one day they'll get serious and plays on PC : a new galaxy of multiplayer games will opens ...

To be honest, I still have some fun with my friends, but barely play it when i'm alone.
And I totally understand (and agreed) all the claims posted here !

The best call of is call of duty black ops 3 until now and the last one with jumping option, all the others are shit, but the big problem are cheaters, online play dont worth it anymore until they fix this big problem !!
