Well the board is ancient, does it even have the option to undervolt let alone CO for any CPU? It doesn't even support OCing IIRC.

Seems like 5700X3D is the sweeping recommendation. Unfortunately, a used 5800X3D is not happening - They are insanely expensive to get and while they are faster than the 5700X3D, the price difference really isn't worth it.

Great choice, just remember to update the BIOS before you install the new chip. It uses less power than the 5900XT and should be better suitable for that motherboard, too.

I am on the latest BIOS available already, and this BIOS supports pretty much every Ryzen AM4 CPU on the planet, thanks!
