New architecture

Nehalem is Intel’s investment in the future and K10 was the same for AMD. It did turn out to be good in 45nm, and both Shanghai and Deneb K10.5 are doing quite well, but the next big new thing comes in 2011.

AMD calls this product Bulldozer and it comes after Magny-cores 12 core server CPU that is planned for 2010. It looks like Bulldozer might be coming in 2011 after all, but it is obvious that AMD plans to have six core to fight Intel’s.

It is interesting that Nigel Dessau, AMD’s executive vice president of marketing spinning, has confirmed this in his blog here.

I had see nthat pic before with the green processor fans, and I mean that exact pic. So I just googled amd 1207 and came up on like the 3rd image

Was a good one though, I can't believe it took that long to bust. No one even bothered putting up a fight, one person mentioned april fools and everyone else just let it slide, thats hilarious!

With the new memory controller HTR you can force the cpu with more voltage. In fact when you push it that high it makes you you the NB with the HTR voltage as well.

ATM that's the highest score yet. What's funny is this is the same board that they were going to release but updated a bit.

AMD made this board up in about a month. They finnaly decided to do it around the 1st of March. This board came to my house last Friday

I have 2 more of them also but they have all the engineering switches all over them and I was told not to show them at all(They don't want Intel and N looking over that kind of board)

The FX are a little different tho. This time with DDR3 in the picture, they put the memory controller on the motherboard. This is to help oc the cpu more without killing the memory controller in the CPU. Well it does have one in the cpu but it's a half on the cpu and have on the board. They are calling it HTR Hyper Transport Ram.
