using 2x 6970s in CrossFireX w/ 11.11b + 11.11 CAP2 the descaling seems to have stopped just going on the feel of it...

i express uninstalled all via Calalyst Install Manager ala Control Panel, i then went into Device Manager and uninstalled and selected delete the files for the Radeon HD 6970 devices, rebooted, ran (phyxion.net) Driver Sweeper 3.2.0, rebooted, then installed the 11.11b performance drivers, uninstalled the cap2 but running the 11.11 CAP2 installer and selecting remove... rebooted, and then installed the 11.11 CAP2 again

seems to work fine for me... in CrossFireX
i thought the full driver package always included the latest caps. not?

the purpose of caps was to give new CF application profiles without needing the whole driver package, not the other way round. anybody care to enlighten me?

Anyone have these drivers screw up their overclocking? I went from stable 910/1430 overclocks on my 6950's to being unable to Overclock the core by even 10 mhz without a crash :/

Edit: Reverting to 11.10 and using RadeonPro's Oblivion profile, Overclocking will certainly give more performance overall until a stable driver is released.

No problem here. Doing max overdrive clocks with my 6950s on CF. Am yet to see any driver related stabililty. Been playing BF3, CODMW3 and NFSTR (and a bit of Skyrim too, just to check the drivers) in the last few days.

Hmmmm I'm going to try 11.10 again to see if the drivers were the issue, since I was running my overclocks immediately before installing 11.11b

Edit: My overclocks were fine before installing 11.11b but even after feverting to 11.10 I still cannot overclock even 10mhz :/

Edit2: I think I found it, switching drivers back and forth cause ULPS to become re-enabled so that very well could be the root of my trouble.
