I was seeing from the graphs that the 7900xt works better in 4k

are you telling me it's better amd then?I would not get a 4070S over a 7900XT at any time. I am just a Gamer though that enjoys my Humble library more than the 50 Games that are benchmarked by reviewers. AMD has consistently provided driver updates on a monthly basis.

I am not trying to influence anyone. I can only tell you that I enjoy my 7900XT and the VRAM buffer and bus width matter for anything that does not have DLSS or FG. I look at raw specs. 12GB vs 20GB. 192 Bit vs 320Bit. The biggest factor though is cost. When you are paying that much for a GPU that specs on the 4070 Super seem weak.are you telling me it's better amd then?
Forget about what that guy says, he must be an AMD fanboy. Just buy the Super!are you telling me it's better amd then?

You are the one in an AMD thread telling someone a 12GB card is enough to Game in 2024, when there are people complaining about their 3080 VRAM buffer? It is not like Games are using less VRAM today either.Forget about what that guy says, he must be an AMD fanboy. Just buy the Super!

There is no comparison between a 2060 and 7900XT. If you get a 7900XT (update drivers) you will get that smile that compelling hardware brings the first time you use it.so I only saw the numerical data in the review on the site. Let's say you finally gave me a detailed answer. So, coming from the 2060, do you recommend the 7900xt?
But buy Nvidia because AMD sucks
as of today, March 2024, is this or the 7900 gre or the 4070 super worth it?
At this point, what would be the card that will last the longest over time? consider that I have had my 2060 since 2018
But then do I think the cost is excessive given that they will have just been released? Why do you think so? Nvidia does that much better than AMD, TBH.
Neither. I know how annoying it is to hold onto something that old but look, I have another proposal for you.
Because RDNA 3 is now very old architecture (2022 released) and the product lifecycle will sooner rather than later come to an end.
So, just buy as a stop gap the Radeon RX 7600 that is around 40% faster, and wait till sometime this summer-autumn for the new RDNA 4 graphics, namely Radeon RX 8700 XT, Radeon RX 8600 XT.

So you're telling me that for 2K it's excessive to take the XT?The 7900XT is a perfect card for 4K. I would not buy it for 1440P. A 7900GRE or 7800XT or 7700XT (too expensive) would be cheaper and better suited.
