I wouldn't be holding my breath for Navi 31 if you're mostly interested in RT. You'll be much better served by the 4090 or 4080 in this department.I'm mostly interested to see AMDs gains in CP and Metro with all RT maxed out and no upscaling used at 4k. ... I think it will be pretty underwhelming at least to me if they can't even beat the previous gens flagship nvidia cards in RT....
Not that it matters in Cyberpunk, as it's still unplayable on any card with everything maxed out in 4K. The 4090 does about 40 fps on average here. Metro Exodus: EE sees around 70 fps on the 4090 and some 50 fps with the 4080 with the same settings.
The 7900XTX promises 50% better RT performance than the 6950XT, so I'd expect about 15-20 fps in Cyberpunk and 50 fps in Metro under the same conditions.
In pure raster, I predict the 7900XTX to be within 10% of the 4090 at 1080p, and 10-20% faster than the 4080 at 4K.
