I think he means Zen 3 lower priced parts (5600 non x i guess and 5300x), not zen 1 or zen 2
Not really. How I see it he wants the 5600x to go lower in price than its MSRP claiming price inflation. He didn't mention anything about the lower models but the inflation of the prices for announced release so I don't think he had meant the 5600 non XT or other. There will be time for other products. You need to understand that these are manufactured with chiplets and the best quality will go to a higher tier. So the lower models will come later probably. For me, no shock there for others oh well...

10600K sells for ~230 right now. 5600 needs to beat that.
Early 2021 means it needs to contend with whatever Rocket Lake is going to bring to the table.

Where are you seeing that? The lowest price I can find for the 10600k is $246.77 at shopblt.com and it looks to be out of stock at that price. Micro Center has it for $275 which appears to be more legit;

I am in EU. The prices in US and EU are usually roughly equal in number with exchange rate difference between $ and € making up for taxes difference.
Mindfactory has 10600K for 238€ and 10600KF for 227.20€, both in stock.

EU also...

Here 10600k is from 250€.
I assume that 5600X will start at launch at around 320~350€ and by the end of the year will drop to ~300€, as this the case with almost every PC hardware release.

If a future 5600nonX exists at 220$ then here at launch will be around 250+€ and after 1~2 months will drop to ~220€

Last year I bought the 3600nonX 1 month after launch at 210€.
