AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D to Start Selling Today

Dudes, wait a week or two until the supply stabilizes. Wait for Christmas deals. You may even get the 9800X3D with better stepping. I just don't get this "I shall have it at release date!" approach. It's too late to order now, all preorders created before your order are getting fulfilled first. That's why it is in stock but suddenly it is not, you may not even notice. Other thing is that most of e-shops have their system connected to their distributors' and that distributor has an update interval set on articles. That distributor might be selling millions of articles, so don't expect that update interval to be higher than once or twice per day per item. When hundreds (or even more) of shops are using the same distributor, 5 pieces in stock can go out in less than minute but it will still show "in stock" at those shops until the data from distributor updates. This is exactly the situation when you see something is in stock, you place an order, then you get e-mail regarding the thing being actually not in stock.

No they don't, it says available for pre order and has done since 6pm yesterday the 7th. It also says there not expecting stock until 29th November.

In fact you can't even pre order now.

My friend still loves his 5800x3d, he got it the day it was released. I cant believe the 9800x3d is only 13% faster than the 5800x3d.

Because it's not, look somewhere other than here.
