Yeah, God forbid they inflate prices once for a generation with staggering performance increases, especially since they've been indebted for so long. But nobody cared when Intel made you pay more than double every year for 5% performance improvements, and that's being optimistic.
I did, and I switched to AMD (Zen2 and Zen3), but their greed didn't pay off.
Now Intel simply is more convenient, and Zen4 is quite late. That's why I switched back to Intel.
AMD should have cut prices 4/5 months ago, just before Alder Lake release, and should have released Zen4 in may/june.
That would have been a good strategy to keep their pace.
