AMD today released the latest version of AMD Software Adrenalin drivers for its graphics cards and integrated graphics. Version 24.7.1 WHQL comes with optimization for "Zenless Zone Zero" and "Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess." The drivers add HYPR-Tune support for "Gray Zone Warfare," "Lords of the Fallen," "RoboCop: Rogue City," and "Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name." The drivers also add Radeon Anti-Lag 2 support for "Dota 2."

Among the issues fixed with this release include stutter noticed with Anti-Lag and FSR 3; stutter when playing Fortnite with DirectX 12 renderer, a texture corruption noticed when playing TEKKEN 8 with ray tracing or upscale enabled; display corruption noticed when playing Dying Light: Stay Human with Radeon Boost enabled, crash or corruption noticed with Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy with ray tracing enabled; VSR or display color enhancements being disabled after driver update; inability to change display pixel format with certain language settings; black corruption being observed on scaled 3D models while using Origin or OriginPro; and a black display corruption noticed when seeking with PotPlayer.

AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 Support for Dota 2
Takes responsive gaming to the next level by introducing an in-game option to optimally pace frames, further reducing input lag on AMD RDNA architecture-based discrete and integrated graphics products.

AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 features an onscreen overlay that can be used to display the system latency of supported games. When Anti-Lag 2 is enabled, the onscreen overlay can be toggled on using the ALT+SHIFT+L hotkey.

Use the ALT+SHIFT+L hotkey to enable the Radeon Anti-Lag 2 Latency Monitor. Once activated, a small white chevron will appear in the top left corner of your display indicating that it is enabled.

Use ALT+SHIFT+L again to cycle through the following Latency Monitor display options: No metrics, FPS only, FPS and latency (in ms), FPS and latency (in ms and frames), FPS and latency (in ms and frames) with a legend.

To compare the difference between Anti-Lag 2 On and Anti-Lag Off, hold the right CTRL key.

Anti-Lag 2 currently supports Dota 2 while using the DirectX 11 API.
Fixed Issues and Improvements
  • Improvements to stutter when AMD Radeon Anti-Lag and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 frame generation is enabled.
  • Improvements to stutter while playing Fortnite with DirectX 12 API.
  • Texture corruption may be observed while playing TEKKEN 8 with Ray Tracing or Upscale enabled.
  • Corruption may be observed while playing Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition with Radeon Boost enabled.
  • Intermittent system crash or corruption may be observed while playing Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy with Ray Tracing enabled.
  • Virtual Super Resolution or Display Color Enhancements may be set to disabled after driver upgrade.
  • Unable to change display pixel format with certain Windows display languages.
  • Intermittent black corruption may be observed on scaled 3d models while using Origin or OriginPro application.
  • Black corruption may be observed while fast forwarding using PotPlayer.
Known Issues
  • Lower than expected performance or excess stutter may be observed while player Battlefield 2042 on Radeon RX 6000 and 7000 series GPUs. [Resolution targeted for 24.8.1]

This version is also for the older graphics, namely Radeon RX 500 series, too.

I need re check star swarm with older drivers. I did lose some performance, decreased 12%. That is something like 13 FPS. I have Radeon 6700 xt.

The scaling issue on the installer is not fixed. At 1080p a gigantic window pops up, at 2160p a tiny window pops up.
Something is messed up with the resolutions settings.

I installed it yesterday. Still not dead. So I suppose it is safe.

I have no such issues running 150% scaling at 2160p

It seems you should do some DDU and clean registry with some traces for monitors or virtual desktops etc.

Its cool to look at these wonderful updates, but I have come to the conclusion to stick with 24.2.1. Each version since has given me some odd type of issue and it doesn't matter if I run AMD's cleaner prior to install. My system is now considered old and outdated. I don't believe AMD is putting much effort into stability/performance for the previous generations. I'm not trashing AMD, I just think older stuff has reached its full potential.

You can do it on Android and it looks the same. So you are not limited to Intel here for sure.
Oh yes, then...
Correction: Make sure NOT to play it with an AMD Zen-based CPU lol

Never expected to see PotPlayer in here in the patch logs. I used to use PotPlayer. It was my favorite. But after a fresh new install whjen I was about to install PotPlayer I heard they added ads and spyware in new versions and it had gotten bad so then instead opted for VLC this time.

Installed yesterday and these are better than 24.6.1

Finally an update to the RX580X that is still one of the most popular AMD GPU accordingly to Valve.

They are sold very cheaply and in great numbers on aliexpress.

Right now, I'm happy with 24.1.1.

Finally! This finally fixes the RAM Leak for ZEN4.
