They have already got much faster cards, so I don't think anyone will be "thankful" for such an offer.
That would be the ultimate disastrous downgrade..

And don't laugh too hard...........I actually had to buy one at that price during covid for my mom's pc cause her card died and the next card up was about $1000 CAD

The thing that you are one of the few who made the mistake to buy the FX underperforming and Vega underperforming products doesn't mean that the more normal people did the same.

Can't speak for Vega but didn't FX sell pretty well?

Disagree. Different community different view and you can't say it is the worst because they have different opinions than you do. It is still a community which has its own ideas of how things should look. Not saying I agree but you should not say worst because they do not think the way you do.

If comparing an old GPU that has lowered prices to an new one, at least include the upsides of the new one as well, such as, better features, lower power consumption. It's certainly not an 1:1 comparison unless you wanna ignore all the upsides the newer card/arch brings to the table.

Do you know 7800xt will have lower power consumption than a 6800xt? As I looked over the data between 7900xt and 6900xt, these consume much the same during gameplay for instance. Not to mention, 6900xt uses a lot of power. Would 7800xt consume less than 6800xt? Probably, but the difference would be mediocre. About the features. Which new features? All AMD cards can use all AMD features unlike NV so there is no better features. RT performance is better but that is hardly a feature. The AV1 is the one that stands out in the newer cards but that is basically it.
It is one to one comparison for an older gen graphics to new gen graphics from AMD. You cant equalize everything and compare because there would be nothing to compare.

Not because of that, but because people there behaved like in the wild west, extremely rude and i saw a lot of toxic nvidia fanboys as well. That's not civilized. But you can like whatever you want.

Oh it's a way smaller chip on a better node so it's pretty obvious but we will see, no need to discuss this now.
