When you have 64 highly performant cores, and with the Infinity architecture of Gen 2, extremely intensive applications like live HEVC video encoding of 10-bit 8Kp60 streams on a single socket become possible... Here is a pic from our demo station at the event. AMD EPYC Rome is, well, epic!
