AMD's RX 580, 570 and RX 550 Specifications and 3D Mark Results Leak

In that respect, I agree. Any $150-$250 Radeon card can pound any PC Game in 1080p at 60-100Hz.
AMD usually holds the best Prices Performance crown. VEGA, based on what we've been told, will be the GPU game changer. Will be what Fury X was suppose to have been.

Yeah that's my understanding as well.

Actually on an interesting note: I think I read an article that dissected how Polaris had a bigger die than it needed to be, but that was likely to make it have good yields.

It really seems like AMD truly built Polaris to be an incredibly cheap-to-produce Mid-High End gaming family, and then Vega will be the densely packed enthusiast line.

My photo is similar to leak.so you can't say It's Fake due to Photoshop.only question is
Polaris 20 and AMD Crossfire.

Microsoft revealed hardware used by Xbox Scorpio.
On GPU side of things it is a 16nm TSMC (woot) 40 CU (480 is 36) GPU.

Very puzzled I am.

AMD is saving TSMC for bulk console production. There is a reason they have selected Samsung/GF 14nm for desktop GPU's: In the short term it is a bit less mature/power-efficient than TSMC's 16nm, but it is also cheaper and denser. Once it matures it should provide more powerful chips than TSMC can (theoretically produce), and they will be cheaper to make.

Again, the problem is GF's 14nm was behind the competition in 2016 (Even if it was dirt cheap).

That quote was an expected production quote, and from 2014 (wccftech/digitimes) i think it rolled on longer than that ,and given they released(rx480) in June 2016 that doesn't prove much if you add in 3-6 months(new node) package and test time from tape out ,LPP would have had to have been bang on time 2nd half of 2015 ( i dubiously doubt this) and Polaris would have to have been first ish on the node again dubious but the respins will enlighten us for sure.
Given that globalfo used Samsung's 14nm tech it will have effectively been an Lpe run for them anyway given its risk potential or just set up line doing initial runs.

Are you high? Because if you're, i'd love to know ur guy.

Most are here to speculate on rumours , your motive is to prove shit means naught and can be faked.
It's an odd pass time to me

Where's your rumour busting proof because afaik and most of the industry knew , when Polaris came out only Lpe was available LPP has not been available long ,afaik RyZen is AMD's first cut at LPP though there is no Lpe anymore so that's deffinately not used.
Lpe wasn't dirt cheap btw , at risk production never is but it will have been subsidized in all likelihood.

Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890, both LPP, have been in production from Q4 2015 and in devices early 2016. Admittedly produced at Samsung but I would guess that GF would have LPP up and running in less than 6 months after Samsung, considering the licensing deal happened in early 2014.

Polaris already being on LPP doesn't mean improvement isn't possible. Yield certainly must have improved.
What is remotely possible, is that AMD switched to the 4th gen 14nm process called 14LPU. 14LPU is supposed to be ready in Q2 2017 but that seems too soon for the RX580.

I'm unwilling to argue further as I'm on a phone and link searching is beyond tricky and time consuming but I'll say this to arrive on a refined arch not a copy and a new node , entirely new to the founder on June people should definitely back off on glofo then , hat's off and all ,i still think I'm right mind.
But regardless agreeing as we do that glofo made them as an early ish batch on a new node , a new line , and by a new foundry I'm damn sure that could be refined further.

You said It's Fake , I said No.

You said It's Fake , I said No.

I never said "IT'S FAKE" i just said we can't believe every screenshot or camera shot that might look real, that's my point, people speculating on anything is just stupid.

People speculating on something they are either interested in specifically to buy or because tech Is their hobby as is chatting about it is not stupid it's what tech forums were made for.
Going in said forums to argue a tangential point about pointless Ness in a tech thread about GPUs is beyond stupid , think of the time you can't get back arguing to the converted that their debate is stupid.

Your doing stupidity incarnate imho.

Polaris 20? So it's a minor refresh then?

It's most likely a fake screenshot (20 mins of work to cook up one)

That "let me picture my screen" is kinda "protection" vs "aha, you photoshoped it" (visible editing artifacts) experts.

It should be Polaris 20, videocardz posted a pic few days ago, that kinda confirmed it
