Is it worth spending $270 on a motor-driven desk that will allow you to work in a standing position? Should you consider spending an additional $40 on an anti-fatigue mat if you need to work in a standing position for several hours a day?

if I need to ask my self why something exists then Obviously its value is pretty low

Some people may not need this, i got a standing desk at IKEA and i love it.I run 6+ miles a day and its nice to have the option to stand on the tougher days to avoid lactic acid buildup and other issues. I think the big thing is that your able to do both...not sit forever..not stand forever.

Similar is my case. I am not running, but I got an adjustable desk from Ikea and it's awesome. It wasn't cheap though. I think the main problem with this product is availability. Where it is offered, it surely is an option for the people that want something like this, but I highly doubt it, we will see it locally.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to worry about sitting if you run that much ;)
