oh, you used Acelero Xtreme IV. It has so many bad reviews so I decided to go with the extreme iii do I need to buy anything with it? as buying from amazon will take a month to get the stuff delivered to my country.
They are more or less the same thing except with the Xtreme IV you get an additional backplate with it...

Which for me was absolutely useless as the thermal pads supplied were too thick and some of the mounting fittings conflicted with the chipset heatsink on my Z370-F so i wouldnt be able to slot the card in with the backplate on. Hence why you see the funny heatsink array on the back of my card. It looks ugly but it 10/10 does work as i can feel them getting pretty warm/hot when im gaming.
Im guessing a lot of the negative reviews were from the same thing. Just the backplate wouldnt fit properly because of the really thick thermal pads. My 1080Ti works perfectly fine without it. It just becomes a Xtreme III
