This is a Poll for all the threads popping up Relating to Artifacts, black Squares and Screens on nv gpus, and have tried removing and reinstalling drivers, rmaing cards and it hasn't fixed the problems. This is for both discrete and mobility parts

I had this very odd issue when setting up a 3060 Ti system for a client where only with a specific monitor would the GPU display artifacts as if the GPU was broken. An RX 6700 was fine with the same display, which was good as at first I thought something went wrong when transporting the system as I had extensively tested it prior to ensure functionality.

issue won't affect 900 series
issue will only affect 1000 series on certain notebooks where MPO is available
Desktop 1000 is not affected at all, and no MPO is available on those.

As far as i can tell, it appears the June/July cumulative preview has resolved it for 10 and 11.

I had some oddities on an early 2000 series gpu but after replacement all was well. Nothing else.

No issues, GTX 1070 , RTX 2070 Super.

You could also add the option "No issues", it's not like Nvidia GPU's have more issues then AMD GPU's...

Hello, yeah I noticed some funky imagery on my pc. The screen slides side to side like a quarter inch quickly, with just very slight artifacting. The video signal gets intermittent as well.

I know it's an older card, but it's run well otherwise, and only did this recently. I got it not too long ago for a really nice price from a seller that offers returns. I hope I don't have to return it...

I'm wondering if it's caused by the driver. Maybe more recent drivers are weird for it? I have another pc, i5-4460 + ASUS OEM 970, and it ran well too. I stopped using it quite a while ago now, maybe half a year or more. Nothing wrong with it, just boxed it up for moving and didn't want to go through the trouble of setting it up in a place I don't want to call home. It would have been running on an earlier driver, so I wonder if it would be acting up as well if I set it back up and updated things.

Also, I have driver ver. 531.79. I tried updating to the most recent one but it was at the same time as Binbows was installing this one, and I'm not sure if Michaelsoft will let me install the latest one...

yes, my 1050 ti started to artifact last weekend i tried to fix it with hair dryer, it worked for a little period then next day same thing. I have had a decent overclock which seemed pretty stable in all games barely any crash so i don't think that was the thing, i am already broke now stuck with a gt 710, forget gaming for now

I wonder if in my case it's related to the rendering API. I was playing GTA Online when it happened, and it doesn't happen when I play Unturned. GTA runs on DirectX and Unturned on OpenGL I think.

I'm gonna try playing GTA again today to see what happens, and also to drive a taxi cab.

It does it fairly rarely so far. I think it's happened a few more times since it started, honestly not disruptive if it does it this infrequently and with not much artifacting. I hope it's not bad.

I don't think I'll ever do the oven/hairdryer thing. From what I gather it's only ever a temporary fix, that probably won't help anyway.

true, back in the day when i had hd 6850 i tried this method the gpu fine for like half an hour gaming in gta 5 then it lost power and never worked again and fan used to be at full speed (jet engine type of sound) without any display

Had some black artifacts yesterday in Genshin Impact, in the desert region with dust storms. It went away when I went somewhere else and then went back to that same exact spot.

Also I had some green flickering horizontal lines artifacts while loading up Doom Eternal, before the Bethesda logo. It apparently only happens in fullscreen mode though, it went away when I switched to borderless windowed mode.

I'm on a GTX 1070 card I bought used, hope it's just the drivers...

gtx 1070 is really popular in 2nd market here as well, i have contacted like 4-5 guys to buy one, i kinda regret missing out on a very good deal of 1070 ti with 1.5 years warranty despite being cheaper than all these 1070s without warranty

Unrelated, Titular issue doesn't affect 3D surfaces,
nor Desktop pascal in the first place.
