ASRock Z690 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB4

Hi!

So i've just got this board, had it for about a week and been doing some overclocking. I've been told that the VCCSA voltage is too high and i went into bios to confirm the voltage as HWINFO was reporting 1.648v and indeed the bios also reads the same so its not a hwinfo bug.

Is this a safe voltage? I have no control over this voltage, there is nothing in bios that i can see that will allow me to change it. The overclocking community has told me it should be more in line with 1.4v or less? I have no idea as Z690 is still very new to me and there's a lot of mystery surrounding it.

Edit: I am on the latest bios 9.01

@Easy28para I do not think that is a safe voltage. I experienced that too after the review was published. Clear CMOS fixed it for me. Have you tried to manually set this voltage or clear CMOS?

Which z690 itx board would you recommend?
@Prchord depends on the features you want. I would post this question on the forums for more opinions.

I don't like any of the current ITX Z690 boards available unless it's the super pricey MSI options.

Asus B660I would be my choice for an affordable LGA1700 option.

Wow, is it just a fact - ITX motherboards can not handle - Registered ECC ram?
