ASUS, world-leading producer of top quality graphic solutions, has today unveiled its latest ENGTS250 Series of graphics cards. Catering to users who want a graphics card capable of delivering astounding graphical performances, the ASUS ENGTS250 TOP offers them up to 20% performance boosts for exhilarating gaming experiences. The ENGTS250 Series is also well equipped in the thermal department, with the specially designed Dark Knight fansink delivering extreme cooling and low noise-levels-greatly enhancing gaming enjoyment. Additionally, with inclusion of the EMI Shield, covered chokes, low RDS(on) MOSFETs, and solid capacitors, users will achieve extreme performance and peace of mind at the same time; and the ENGTS250 DK/HTDI/1GD3 version comes equipped with a mammoth-sized 1G of onboard memory ideal for feature-rich DirectX 10 gaming at ultra-high resolutions. Last but not the least, to show that ASUS cares for all gamers, the ASUS ENGTS250 Series graphics cards will all come bundled with a special coupon that allows users to obtain up to $25 or 10% off on a total of 5 games; or CUDA applications at the NZONE webpage.

Enjoy Exceptional Gaming Fun with 20% Performance Boosts
With the ASUS ENGTS250 DK TOP/HTDI/512MD3, gamers can expect GPU, shader, and memory clock performance boosts from 740 MHz up to 775 MHz, from 1836 MHz up to 1950 MHz, and from 2.2 GHz up to 2.36 GHz respectively. Such unprecedented performance upgrades help elevate the ENGTS250 DK TOP's 3DMark Extreme Preset score from 2682 to 3215-an astounding 20% improvement in terms of speed when compared to any other reference designed board! Gamers can now truly feel the full adrenaline rush of superb gaming performance-only with the ASUS ENGTS250 DK TOP.

The ENGTS250 DK TOP/HTDI/512MD3 will be available in two card designs to suit individual user needs.

Extreme Cooling with Dark Knight Fansink
Another advantage of the ASUS ENGTS250 Series is the specially designed Dark Knight Fansink. This innovative fansink is equipped with 4 heatpipes and a large heatsink surface area; and is comprised of an aluminum alloy that provides extreme cooling while retaining operating levels at only 32dB-almost imperceptible in a quiet room-catering to users who require maximum cooling without excessive fan rotation noise.

The ENGTS250 DK/HTDI/512MD3 will be available in two card designs to suit individual user needs.

Unprecedented 1 GB Onboard Memory for Ultimate Graphics
Memory size plays an important portion in the delivery of graphical performance, as even a powerful GPU can suffer from bottlenecks due to slow or insufficient video memory. The more memory installed on a video card, the more data it can store-eliminating the need to access PC RAM to provide faster graphical performances. With most current and upcoming games requiring increasingly high video memory requirements, the ASUS ENGTS250 DK/HTDI/1GD3, with its unprecedented 1GB of built-in memory, is able to deliver greatly enhanced performances, and allow users to fully enjoy games or movies without lag or stuttering even at very high resolutions and maximum quality settings.

Ultimate Armaments: The Finest Component Selections
Keeping in line with ASUS' Rock Solid promise for quality, the ENGTS250 Series will come equipped with several solutions that will help deliver top quality visual performances. With the EMI shield, 66% EMI Interference can be reduced for more stable signals; while Covered Chokes guarantee more power efficiency and less heat generation in comparison to traditional Toroidal Coil Chokes. Additionally, the low RDS(on) MOSFET lowers temperatures by up to 15°C in comparison with the traditional thick versions; and last but not least, the use of solid capacitors lower power loss for more stable operations and durability-even under long-term use. Therefore, users will be able to enjoy extreme performance and have peace of mind-only with the ASUS ENGTS250 Series.

Value-added Coupon Offer for All Gamers
To further provide users with added gaming value, the ASUS ENGTS250 Series graphics cards will now come with a limited edition coupon. This coupon will allow users to redeem up to $25 in value or 10% off on up to 5 games; or CUDA applications at the NZONE webpage. With over 200 game titles like Fallout 3, Far Cry 2 and Call of Duty: World at War, users will be spoiled for choice with the hottest and latest games on display. The latest CUDA applications like Badaboom are also offered on the site for users interested in unlocking the true power of their graphic card's GPU cores to help accelerate the most demanding graphical tasks.

is it only me or they look ugly :D

how much SP does these cards have?

I wonder how the manufacturers (Evga, XFX, BFG, Asus, etc...) feel about re-releasing different versions of the same card, three times over. I'm sure they're not too fond of it either...

You Know, This is the Reason XFX Moved to the Dark Side, because they aren't making any profit on rebagged cards, I wonder if EVGA will move just like XFX did.

Imagine an igp based on the g92 with 256mb of ram. Would be a massive boost to the average joe's gaming ability if it were possible. All it would need is a die shrink to reduce heat a bit more though.

Hamster and a rat were sitting on the side of a swimming pool. They were enjoying the sun. Suddenly the rat turned to the hamster and asked him:
- Dude, How come people consider me a noisance, and you a pet? How come people pay money to have you, while they are trying to kill me? How come you are considered a cute little animal, while I am considered creepy and disgusting? How come you live in a warm home, and I have to stay in the sewer?
So the hamster answered:
"It’s branding, dude."

sry, i couldn't help it:D

I like these Dark Knight fans. They seem to be working/selling good for ASUS.

My onboard HD 3300 has 128mb built into the motherboard and can handle Left 4 Dead at 1920x1080 at low settings. That's pretty good for average joes :)

Exactly imagine how revolutionary it would be for nvidia if all of a sudden dells could play crysis. I bet the next xbox or ps3 will probably use a G92 and it will be next gen graphics all over again.

Man ASUS, releasing 5 of these guys at once. 4 of them are the same card with a few tweaks. This is a 8800GTS/9800GTX right. I really can't see this as anything but milking but what are you gonna do. I guess the guys that don't have any of those already would love the update.

5 ... 5.... of a product that was on the mrket before?

is this just showing that the hardware industry is too far ahead of software right now?

I don't see what demand the GTS 250 is filling. I think Nvidia has sort of forgotten about demand, and has instead decided to just flood the market with so many models of graphics card, that it will seem they are the only manufacturer.

What? This is essentially a 3 year old card with a die shrink, how is the hardware ahaid of the software

So are these good for gaming? What what are they suppose to be like? A 9800GTx?

It's replacing the 9800GTX demand, basically the mid-range.

I'm just glad nVidia naming scheme will be all unified finally.

Core clock @ 775MHz, impressed for pre-overclocked cards.

Doesn't the 8800GTS 512 come at 600mhz stock originally. If so that is bloody impressive.

My point being that even 3 year old hardware still runs todays games.

There are alot of ugly looking pcie cards lately lol
