ASUS is readying a new factory-overclocked, custom-design graphics card based on the ATI Radeon HD 5870 GPU, likely named the EAH5870-TOP. The company is also readying the Radeon HD 5850 based EAH5850 DirectCu. While the EAH5870-TOP is expected to have high out of the box clock speeds, a higher performance sporty-looking cooler, the EAH5850 DirectCu relies on a more function-centric cooler design that boasts of being 35% quieter and 20% cooler [than reference AMD cooler]. Further details, such as clock speeds are not known, but it is expected that ASUS will release these during CeBIT 2010, later this quarter.

That 5870 looks NOICE. The 5850 also looks good but I thought most of the other ones came with 2 DVI ports, that card only has one.

Sweet, love these quieter GPU fans

Wow, that's awesome dedication right there. I definitely appreciate the work you do though. The relative performance summary charts by resolution are my personal favorite. Keep up the great work man! :toast:

Nice, I cant wait for the review :D

Downside IMO is it vents inside the case :shadedshu

wiz if cards ever get dated feel free to send me them :) haha

I like the way the 5870 looks but overall i really dont care if it looks like a turd because i dont stare into my case everyday

Looks like for once asus means business with the release of 2 top tier boards being of custom designs.
