That's true, but this function can also be easily replaced by using software. Just set the bottom intake fans to follow the graphics card fan curve or set a custom fan curve base on the GPU core temperature.

Yes but that's more complicated and I never trust my fan profiles to software it's never set and done forever like hardware solution.
