ASUS showed of three new design concepts for the otherwise boring-looking thermal armor of the TUF Sabertooth Z77 motherboard. The designs were sourced from the PC enthusiast community. The top design is entitled "Ammo depot," and makes use of props that look like grenades and shells. The next design is entitled "Gears of TUF," and bears a rustic industrial look. The final design concept is called "Desert Warrior," and features a non-digital desert camo design with a few rounds lying on it. For now, these are merely design concepts. ASUS probably found its newest product designer out of the exercise.

Pretty silly indeed, but what I don't understand is how will they position this compared to ROG products.

It's like ASUS said to themselves "hey, let's manufacture the ugliest boards we can think of and see how many people are stupid enough to buy them!"

Kids' toys...
I miss DFI.

Interesting idea, I guess its just the normal Sabertooth motherboard underneath though?

The one on the right looks better than those three.

They are going to have to come out with camo painted CPU coolers and graphics cards too, or else "The curtains won't match the drapes."

What about having a theme on mobo's that caters for people that do not particularly like FPS games :/ Or better yet have a normal mobo design.

The original Asus TUF Z77 looked pretty neat, but these versions make my eyes bleed ;p

But...but I like the original design. :(

This whole military-wannabe thing needs a catchy name and stigmata, as soon as possible.
