Asus destroyed this card with their "updated vbios" either never change ur card vbios or use the "verified" one i linked as its the only one tested by that performs head and shoulders above the rest. End of topic.

Asus usa/canada said that i should ask amd for original vbios and amd said i should ask asus . Asus poland sent me the "updated vbios" alone which i can find in package on website anyways . All i can tell to close this topic is that i tested all vbios for my card and verified from techpowerup is only 1 and it performs so much better than any other.

If you ever doubt what vbios works best for your card ( strix-470-O8G-gaming) i leave it here.

To be frank with you they did not destroy the card, if they really wanted to your card would be up in smoke right now, you're just
ungrateful is what your problem is

All i can say is there is no reason to flash any gpu, so don't come here complaining about this, you do, you won't get the right help, you are on your own from here on out.

Good luck to your faux pas

I found true and reliable way to extract vbios from card without modifying it like gpu-z does . It is to use Atiflash tool with "save" option rather than bugged gpu-z which changes sha-1 of vbios, when using Atiflash to backup vbios its not changing the sha-1.

My question is there any1 on this forum who have asus-strix-470-o8g-gaming card with unmodified vbios and is willing to use atiflash to save vbios instead of gpu-z and let me try it out?

In polaris bios editor 2 bioses look 100% the same in every column the only difference is how card works and the name rest is the same. Its something u cant change in polaris editor.

use IGP as main card then flash using amdvbflash -f -p 0 bios.rom and using this method card works the best so far compared to joke of a vbios asus provided. ( "verified" vbios form techpowerup was used ).

Even though a force flash isnt needed when using ati flash, either way.

Glad its fixed enjoy the card as is and dont flash sgain, if you need more performance grab a navi 5700XT

Ye good that at least the verified vbios i found here in vga databse performs cuz asus after my intervention removed this "updated" one which performed like a complete joke.
