It won't fit with any build unless you already browned out with fans.

Well, if someone passes a GPU because of its shroud/backplate colour, then it's his/her problem. I wouldn't personally mind, hell, even having a backplate would be nice as my 1080 Ti doesn't have one.

And I do agree that the shit-colored classic Noctua fans are ugly, but like I said, in 99.9% of builds, the fans would be facing down, out of sight.

I doubt that they use a different PCB between 10GB and 12GB models, as 12GB models practically just has two memory chips more.

So it's just stupid to release a premium model like this when there's a better version of the "same" model.

True they are similar but the vram isn't the only difference. It really should have been called 3080 Super 12GB.
