Autistic Lapsus$ Hacker Who Leaked GTA 6 Clips Sentenced to Life in a Hospital

Public health hasn't labotimised or electroshocked since like the 60s. And the man is a danger to society so theres not a lot of choices here.
bull fucking shit R-T-B respectfully bullshit there is ALWAYS a choice

I would very much like you to explain how hes a danger to society a danger to companies and there data? yes but a Danger to Society? How so

has he physically harmed anyone or indicated he intends to cause physical harm? Has anybody Accually lost any money ? or we going to condem somebody for hypothetical monetery damage?

institutionalizion is NOT an answer because there is no treatment or cure for autism. autism isn't treatable you can medicate him into a vegetiable but you can't treat it
the solution is to find a constructive outlet not medicate him for the rest of his life

you euros and your mental health system make the US look Positively advanced. and we have people running around committing mass murder because of the lack of mental health care
wth

he's NOT autistic he has aspergers which is a fancy label people use for people that are hyper-inteligent and could give a shit about the mundane socital structures in place

do I think he should be allowed to run riot and hack whoever he wants No. but danger to society come`on

what the hell is wrong with you people on that side of the pond we have had world leaders that are a greater danger to HUMANITY then this kid

massive lost of respect for you r-t-b

Companies are people too :D

On a serious note, as much as it's fun seeing Rockstar and other companies getting hacked that's not ok, it's a crime just like robbing a supermarket or a bank. He absolutely is a danger to society when he doesn't recognize right from wrong to the point of hacking Rockstar from the hotel room while waiting trial.

How do you know if they don't recognize 'right' from 'wrong'? Maybe they just don't care?
Do you believe our universe even distinguishes 'right' from 'wrong'? For some, this act is perfectly justifiable and totally right, while for others it's completely the opposite. In their own views they are all right.

That's a hard philosophical question, in simple terms in the society of rules and laws we live in what they did was wrong. The autistic guy who has been the focus of the discussion here was deemed unfit to stand trial so I think it's fair to assume he doesn't distinguish the two.

its not hard to have somebody declared unfit to stand trial
especially in the uk where the mental health standards are apperently abysmal

Being declared unfit for trial is a good thing, it means he can get treatment instead of a jail cell. And once he's considered treated he's free to leave and won't have the same fellony labels when looking for a job.

The alternative would be a few years in prison, granted not many but time where he'd be continuously terrorrized because of his mental problems.

He wants to continue cybercrime, its only a matter of time before a database he ransoms has peoples social security numbers and financial details. You don't need to be a threat to people directly to be a danger to society, just to the established financial order. And he absolutely is.

institutionalizion is NOT an answer because there is no treatment or cure for autism.
JFC, he's not being locked up for his Autism OneMoar!

he's NOT autistic he has aspergers
Aspergers is not a clinical diagnosis anymore. It's called "high functioning autism" (as Autism is now considered a spectrum) and newsflash, I have it and am neither a danger to society nor even close to ending up in jail. Please stop with these comparisons. They are more than mildly offensive.

massive lost of respect for you r-t-b
I think you'd have less a loss of respect if you understood he literally goes free if he stops hacking things with literally every smart device within reach, and proves he won't continue to do so. Kids got issues and Autism has nothing to do with it.

For some, this act is perfectly justifiable and totally right
Man if only we had a clearly defined legal code to sort this one out.

yes bud i went through it as a kid 18 months under the cosh funny thing is every shrink i saw was more nutty than me and most was only interested with what i did with my junk.
they only wanna sell pills and that's it they get big commisions from big pharma....

And if only this code was applied in the same way without any bias...
It's supposed to be but we all know reality isn't that. That said, as someone who actually works in a local court (IT and record storage but still, you see things), it's not as bad as many claim either.

how do you know that bud.
I literally work with a local legal firms recordings processing and storage, mostly audio, so yeah, I hear things.
