I am a sucker for BF games. Played them all and more or less liked them all, well except Hardline.

I dislike games in which a country is at war with another country - real ones . I cant shoot real persons in realistic manner . Not for me .

I enjoy games with monsters , dragons , knights , mages .

Worst fears confirmed for me. I'll likely be sitting it out and hope it blows over, with a modern themed BF released next year. I only hope that BF4 continues to have a good population and/or RS2 Vietnam is playable for me. Giving Armored Warfare a shot for tank gameplay, but it seems too grindy for me.

Hardline sold fairly well if I recall. It just wasn't popular on PC. Check the stats on consoles and you'll see it has many players.
