Bsods, psods, osods, driver timeouts, driver resetting itself on its own, pc doesnt wake up from sleep, stuttering, game crashing and sometimes artifacts.
Also i dont mine buying used but it mightve been an ex mining gpu?
Yeah, I had bad luck with a RTX 2070... It's best to buy from someone you know / trust.
For me, new is always an option: returned 2 x 4060 Ti (don't judge me  ): MSI with coil whine and Inno3D with rather loud cooler. I'm very picky about noise...
Figured I'd get something based off TPU reviews, like the Asus RTX 4060 Dual.

Wow, I've never had that many problems running Radeon cards.

Yeah, your best bet if running Nvidia cards are prob (new) 4060/Ti to 4070/Ti and used 3060/Ti to 3070/Ti.

If you can find a 3070 Ti cheap that would be a good card as hardly any of them would have been mined on. Majority of them were LHR which miners didn't want. They do run pretty warm though and are power hogs.

8GB cards will be fine if all you want to run is this particular game. 4070/Ti would be more for future proofing but in 4 years time you will have plenty more options with newer cars being released and present cards dropping in price.

Ok so, I've checked the prices of the 3070 ti and it seems to be around 400$~ (shipping included) while the 4060 ti is around the same price as well (but new) so which one should i go for?

It really depends how much more performance you want out of the game.

If you want max FPS for your money, then the 3070Ti. Just remember the 3070Ti will produce a lot more power and heat which will start cranking the fans and get noisier.

It you care more about power, thermals and warranty then 4060 Ti.

Me personally I'd be more inclined to swing the way of the 4060Ti. Its Brand New, less power/heat and brings dlss3 if you every need to use it. This is assuming they are at the same price point.

This sounds very similar to what triple buffering does no?

They might sound similar as both involve 3 frames but the two are completely different. DLSS 3.0 is holding frame 3 to generate frame 2. Tripple buffering generates 2 frames after the current frame while waiting for a screen refresh.
