Best Video Card on the Market Currently

780 now, add one later if you actually need to. If you're at 1080p, you wont need more than a 780, or even a 770 for that matter. Very powerful single gpu > 2 lesser gpu's. Just less overall hassle.

or if u r building a new pc, or u wanna put some massive power into the one u got know, could be nice to know.

plus comparing x-fire/sli vs single is not just something u do, bcs x-fire/sli needs profiles to work properly, if they don't u can beat them in-game with single gpu that has been seen before, if it's for benchmark only u should know it

I am grateful and pretty much have decided but wanted to spew out a few other thoughts and give everyone my specs so they can see where I am with it all.

I have spent a lot of money on all my parts for a new build and I do not want to go cheaply on the video card if it is going to be crap and not run all the games on max settings and be smooth. So if this means me buying a $1000 card I will do it. I have heard rumors of MSI GTX780 Lighting but just wondering how much different it will be compared to others like EVGA Superclocked card.

32gb of DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Ram
2-250gb SSD hard drives
2-2tb WD Cavair Black Drives

I think that is all that I can think of off the top of my head but I am sure I am missing something. From what I can recall I have everything but a few fans and the video card and been trying to get what will be the best and run everything great. I would hate to spend $700 or $1000 then a month later something better will be out and will kick myself for it. Feedback?

780 Lightning and Classified will be on a completely different league from other GTX 780s due to unlocked voltage control.
I can bet that if those vendors do not step back with their decisions those cards will destroy even a Titan.

You need to overclock and tweak to get performance out of those two cards though.

I would hate to spend $700 or $1000 then a month later something better will be out and will kick myself for it.

Would you wait on the MSI GTX780 Lighting and try to grab it or or purchase a single EVGA GTX780 Superclocked or 2, GTX 770 4gb models in SLI or what would be the best performance?

I'd honestly get a 780 Lightning and overclock it.

You'll always be able to add another one down the line without any issue if one will start to struggle (hardly believe this tbh)

Go for 770 Windforce or SC-ACX, the budget champion!

Or else, go for 2 Windforce 760s in SLI.

Waiting radeon price drop to recommend one of the reds...

Im wondering what PSU you will use also... IF u plan to SLI GTX780 you need at least a 850W good PSU for that machine.

Msi Gaming GTX 780 OC , Gigabyte GTX 780 OC, Evga 780 ACX SC, Palit Super Jetstream at the moment seem the logic decision, since they get pretty much the same FPS as a Titan for 300$/350$ less. Palit will use 3 slots, thats out for me. Gigabyte is 11.4" long... I have come to the decision of MSI 780 Gaming or Evga 780 ACX SC. Yes, im also buying to upgrade my GTX560 SLI.

MSI Gtx 780 Lightning might have or might provide more juice (with custom OC) sure, but I doubt you will see practical FPS gains coming from either MSI gaming or Evga w/ ACX SC, since you can also OC each of this a little bit more.

Also when I brought up and mentioned the Radeon HD7990 I was mentioning this below with the benchmarks and where it stands. For example look at the MSI GTX 780 Gaming Video card compared to the others. What my plan is if I am on the right track is to purchase one now and other later to have 2 of them in SLI mode. The images below is the resolution I will be running at. Feedback?

Well, if you plan to SLI get the 780 reference for cooling will be best sicne it send the air to the back of case. All non refence GPU will get the air into the case. I have seen good performance from reference 780, sure their clock is 863, however evene in stock some go to 1000 Mhz boost clock instead of the annaounced 902. I have experienced this first hand. The refrence cooler is excellent also, youcan OC yourself a bit later if you want and you save a few bucks.
