Whether you're new to Bethesda Game Studios' Fallout, or this isn't your first time stepping out of the vault, get a crash course in wasteland survival from the very beginning of the award-winning role-playing game series that blasted onto the scene in 1997. Inspired by Fallout 76's in-game perk cards, the Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Anthology contains seven collectible cards, stored in the core of a miniature bomb (though disarmed, the painted mini-nuke features an explosive sound effect!). On these S.P.E.C.I.A.L. cards, Vault-Tec's fan-favorite Vault Boy makes the best use of his Charisma points to depict the core skills of any exceptional vault-dweller, from brute Strength to sheer Luck.

Each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. card is printed with a PC game code for one of seven landmark Fallout games, including:
  • Fallout
  • Fallout 2
  • Fallout Tactics
  • Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition
  • Fallout: New Vegas - Ultimate Edition
  • Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition
  • Fallout 76

The Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Anthology releases April 11. Please check your local retailers to pre-order.

Bethesda Game Studios' Fallout

F**k right off with that, Beth. You have not created Fallout, that would be Black Isle and Interplay, and even the best iteration of “Bethesda Era” Fallout was also not made by you. At least maybe acknowledge the legacy here? Christ.

Uhhh... Nope..

I used to have a copy of The Elder Scrolls Anthology, all the games from Arena to Skyrim. I purchased it from Target when it was on the clearance rack for $19.99. I resold it on Amazon marketplace a few years later for $125.

This anthology, no way would I spend any money on it. I've already got all the Fallout games except for 76 and really the only Fallout games worthwhile for me to play are Fallout and Fallout 2. If I want an okay FPS then I'd play some Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 3 and 4 are garbage.

Get someone like Larian to make a proper isometric Fallout RPG.

I feel like I just read the same blurb in all three paragraphs. Must be a Bethesda thing.

Bruh, again??

It's a quite hilarious collection, considering that everything except Fallout 4 has been given away for free on ESG, GoG and/or Prime Gaming during the last two years. Some games even multiple times.

Although, I have to admit that the packaging looks kinda neat.

Looks like it would make a neat external hdd/ssd drive with drive slotted in the top

The anthology is £53 btw, i'd pay that for the neat bomb holder, as long as it is metal as it looks.

We are talking about a Bethesda product here... Remember that long deep-dive Starfield trailer where his Toddness tried to peddle that $200 smartwatch while wearing his $4000+ designer watch throughout the rest of that trailer? For £53 that thing will sadly just be plastic. :wtf:

Shame, but i guess it will be 20p worth of plastic.

Nah wait for it, its cardboard.

With all of the quality released in 2023 and upcoming in 2024. Why would anyone want this? Give Helldivers 2 and a proper Homeworld 3 and we are golden. Of course the cream are Space Marine 2 and Titan Quest 2. We want new GOOD content not a rehash. If you want to give me something from the past remaster those Star Wars Games from about 10 years (or more) ago that were the real Sequels to Star Wars Battlefront 2 (On PS2). If you want to get me give me a new Fallout Game with the feel of New Vegas,

Especially when the Fallout 4 Special Edition'll be out right after this I bet
They sure did jump the gun announcing that.

What a fucking joke, I don't want stupid game codes, I want physical media that can survive the apocalypse and the following fallout

What a missed opportunity

That hardly matters now that Bethesda, inXile and Obsidian are all... under Microsoft's wing right? Instead we should be about mailing Phil Spencer for a "New Vegas 2" collab with all three of them... ;)

Nope, it's plastic. They released the same "nuke" 8 years ago already. Only difference, the previous edition included physical disc's instead of just game codes.

If it where metal I would have bought it right away, not gonna lie. But plastic is just a no-go.

I wouldn’t trust modern Obsidian with a New Vegas 2 or whatever they could call their Fallout spin-off. Many of people formative to NV success are no longer at the company. No Avellone, no John Gonzales, no George Ziets. And those that still are… Sawyer is completely off his rocker nowadays, the fathers of Fallout shown their hand with The Outer Worlds and it was unimpressive and, overall, after seeing the “what the actual f**k is this” trailer for Avowed I finally more or less made peace with old Obsidian being dead. And so is Fallout, really. Lonesome Road DLC for NV gets lots of hate for silly reasons, but it was a nice thematic cap for the series. Anything new will just be retreading old ground.
