That's fine, no offense taken - I have very thick skin, I'm just trying to steer things back towards open discussion rather than shutting down any suggestions that don't align with your opinions. Like I said before, it's okay to disagree with other people.Sorry if I have offended you,. That was not my intension.
You have a right to your opinion but I simply disagree with those.
Just to be clear.
See, we're already having a reasonable discussion about changes to skill mechanics to make it work better with the game controllers that a modern gaming demographic prefers. Blasphemy against the purist ideals of a classic remaster but necessary if Blizzard are going to turn a profit from this project by selling to a wider audience. No/low potential profit = canned project never to see the light of day.
I would not be surprised to see this ported to mobile at some point - not that I personally think that's a good idea - just that it's potentially an easy candidate for Blizzard to make money with and they've already tried their hand at selling Diablo on mobile. The other thing about it is that the original resolutions of 640x480 and 800x600 match the iPad aspect ratio and the original GUI is scaled up big enough (a necessity because of the low resolution back then) that it will convert to a tablet really well.
Some builds with work fine with a gamepad, perhaps even be better suited to it, others I can see being compromised by the pad. I still mouse and keyboard (on the sofa) even when I have gamepads available so I've made my choice but I'm well aware that I'm the minority when it comes to modern gaming market.Pretty crappy, considering most of the time you use teleport for quick escape. KB+mouse is still king.
