Also often said as "Cloud is just someone else's computer."

It is a leader, it's used extensively even though AWS moved to this own hypervisor. Multiple leaders can exist, it's not mandatory to have a silngle leader.

That's possible. US regulators will block anything that could be harmful to national interests.

That was for national security concerns because qualcomm makes a shitton of chips, IIRC. Not sure you can argue that here. Market impact is smaller too.
