Burning smell

I could recommend a Silver 80+ (see my spec), but i was criticized before about it saying it is not a well known brand and by that, it is not good. I still use it after 3 years and never failed me. I like EVGA and Antec for their good PSUs but mine is so tight on a budget, you may consider it (if nobody makes a criticism at the brand).
Ill post the name here just in case:
HANTOL ATX 900w V2.3 80+ Silver.
Look it up on ebay, it will come maybe around 50 euros or 60 dollars.

Cant argue with that, anyone can make suggestions here. As you trust your EVGA, i trust my HANTOL, but you stated that this is bronze 80+, which i will say you are wrong since it is only 80+, no other rating.
Still the price says it all, and for sure, the op will pick the cheaper EVGA over my Hantol, but hey at least im here to help, eather way, ill be satisfied with myself for just trying to help the op with a simple suggestion.

Try a friends power supply. While we all have our suspicion on the psu it might not be the problem. Borrow one before buying.

Good point. It's easy to scream "PSU! PSU!" but that's only the easy answer, not necessarily the correct one.

Yup the usb burned by bad contact defectove usb thing i pluged in so it burned electronic related to usb ports, overheated, and triggered electronic contact on motherboard then blowed the chips on board.

Yeah but you'd think that would leave, I don't know, a bit of obvious evidence?

Not saying it's impossible just I don't think that's what happened here.
