Club 3D unveils today the newest member of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 graphics core. The Club 3D GeForce GTX 560 Green Edition features high quality components that minimize power loss, as a result you will expect lower temperatures and noise.

This card shares identical gpu and memory speeds to the standard configuration but improves on energy efficiency. The GPU is clocked at 810 MHz and the memory comes along with 4008 MHz The card is backed by a 2 year warranty and will be available at leading online and in-store retailers across Europe and Asia.

Club 3D Green Edition sets a new standard on high end graphics with low power consumption which reduces engergy bills and lessens the environmental impact. Due to the use of energy-efficient hardware components, the GeForce GTX 560 Green Edition is up to 10% more efficient than the standard reference card.

New CoolStream Cooler!
Club 3D provides the best thermal solution. Club 3D CoolStream features high performance heatpipes that keeps the components cool and outperforms standard cooling solutions. Paired with a unique fan blade design it increases airflow while reducing noise. The result is a dramatic increase of performance for your gaming and multimedia experience. Heatpipes are good for your GPU as it physically contacts the GPU directly and the heat is transferred directly to the fins for heat dissipation and cooling.

Dual Link DVI Support
Able to drive the industry's largest and highest resolution flat-panel displays up to 2560x1600 and with support for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP).

HDMI 1.4a Support

they call 10% more efficient green now i think they are smoking something green and its not the legal kind

is this another %10 more power efficient card that needs a more powerful PSU than stock model? if so then no, its not "green"

edit: 600w power supply required, according to product page. seems just like the other announced a few days ago.

Did we just have the SAME P.R. ANNOUNCEMENT just a couple of days ago? I don't think they deserve multiple announcements. One for GTX 560, and then another for GTX 560 Ti.

yea there's nothing green about the two models. the 10% is negated by the extra 100w or so they require, and the fact the psu they recommend is only bronze cert. wtf.

I hate this green cards they only make them to reduce costs with cheaper components flimsy coolers and/or reduced clocks and even worse memory.

Any card called green should not require 2 6pin connecters...:shadedshu

*Sees a 560GTX Ti Green edition*
*Notices it's from Club3D*
*Sees the 2x6-pin PCI-e power connectors*
*Facepalms for a minute*
*Goes outside to play*

dont forget the tissue paper biodegradable box that it comes inside and the rice paper user manual... i mean at the end of the day extreme gamers like to recycle and are worried about their power consumption and carbon footprint while they are tending to their vegetable patch and knitting yoghurt outside in the field with the chickens and cows

Yea its not really a green edition because it has 2 connectors. Try one and i will buy it.

I don't see how this is "green" other than the logo on the box.

In my happy graphics cards world, green cards come from the green team and red cards come from the red team.

i wait for 580 green edition
just wondering how hard the wattage can be lowered

Only people without hardware knowledge buy green edition cards.

my 9800GT ECO is considered a green card. works great and is flashed to full 9800 clocks and then some. Not a bad card and worked great in my mini ITX setup until it was replaced by a non-green GTX470. these card have there place and i would have preferred to see this with no external connectors on it. until that happens its not a green card...

Only people without hardware knowledge buy green edition cards that have two 6-pin power connectors and consume more power than the reference.
Fixed. ;)
