Club 3D Announces GeForce GTX 560 Green Edition

Club 3D unveils today the newest member of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 graphics core. The Club 3D GeForce GTX 560 Green Edition features high quality components that minimize power loss, as a result you will expect lower temperatures and noise.

This card shares identical gpu and memory speeds to the standard configuration but improves on energy efficiency. The GPU is clocked at 810 MHz and the memory comes along with 4008 MHz The card is backed by a 2 year warranty and will be available at leading online and in-store retailers across Europe and Asia.

edit: 600w power supply required, according to product page. seems just like the other announced a few days ago.

Did we just have the SAME P.R. ANNOUNCEMENT just a couple of days ago? I don't think they deserve multiple announcements. One for GTX 560, and then another for GTX 560 Ti.

yea there's nothing green about the two models. the 10% is negated by the extra 100w or so they require, and the fact the psu they recommend is only bronze cert. wtf.

dont forget the tissue paper biodegradable box that it comes inside and the rice paper user manual... i mean at the end of the day extreme gamers like to recycle and are worried about their power consumption and carbon footprint while they are tending to their vegetable patch and knitting yoghurt outside in the field with the chickens and cows

my 9800GT ECO is considered a green card. works great and is flashed to full 9800 clocks and then some. Not a bad card and worked great in my mini ITX setup until it was replaced by a non-green GTX470. these card have there place and i would have preferred to see this with no external connectors on it. until that happens its not a green card...

Only people without hardware knowledge buy green edition cards that have two 6-pin power connectors and consume more power than the reference.
