Colorful announces their first RTX (Reversed Technology eXtended) chassis named Cable-Routing King C2. Unlike the ordinary chassis, the RTX likes a upside down structure of ATX. With the RTX structure, it fixes the problem that users usually need an external cable to connect the CPU power cable when they route and hide the cables in the back with a PSU downside chassis. Beside, this structure also guarantees the graphics card better heat radiation.

The dimensions of Cable-Routing King C2 are 468mm x 466mm x 190mm, though it is not as large as Mid-Tower chassis, it provides shorter distance for cable routing. The motherboard need to be reversed installation, so the graphics card will be installed in the upside. Due to the meshes on the top, the efficient transport of fresh air into of the chassis is guaranteed to keep the graphics card cool. The PSU bay has been placed on the bottom with anti-dust mesh, and the distance from PSU to CPU power connector is about 15-20CM, so users don't need to purchase any external cables for cable management and hiding.

Inside the new chassis, Colorful uses red baking varnish disposal. It provides three bays for CD drives and eight bays for HDD drives, and 7 expansion slots for PCI/PCIe devices.

Colorful has made it their goal to mid-range users, now is available in Asia, and will be available in Europe soon.

its is similar to the dell xps ....

Nice, very clever.

a case for the Aussies :D haha.

i wouldnt mind this design actually. This is kinda perfect for me as i keep my CPU on the left.

Louvers. I knew they would catch on...I just had a louver grill made by a hot rod shop for one of my client builds.

It's been, like, forever. Seriously, they have good stuff (at, what I would imagine, good prices), but not being able to get it unless I import really sucks.

Anyone else amused by the Colorful logo being front and center on a case who's exterior is entirely black?

RTX? First time I have heard of that. Always heard it called "inverted ATX" or similar term.

It's actually the right way (and more today) to do it. And louvers give it the old skool touch.
Ah... days hanging out at Sir Michaels’ being punch'd. :toast:

The problems I see are the fan mounting holes and the short louvers... ugly! They should've thought up a better way to mount fans up there. Maybe a metal rack holder that's removable from the inside to make cleaning those fans a quick task. Are the expansion slots the kind you break-out... that's so weak! :shadedshu

The PSU filter appears not something easily pulled-out, cleaned and slid back-in. That rear fan grill is fairly restrictive and who asked for/wants 80-92mm fan mounts? Hope that window is just cut standard acrylic sheet so it can be done in smoke and not have fans. Fans on windows look like crap, show dust fast and in a case I’d rather them as ineffectual. I would've went with another mount in the bottom again with a filter instead.

Being termed as "Cable-Routing King" it appears to have some holes here and there, but does not publicize either having space behind the tray or loops for tie-wraps. Lastly I’ll bet that green emblem once removed leaves some gapping mounting holes.

It's like... totally ironic

The hipster's choice of case ;D

not sure if trying to be racist LOL

It looks a bit cheaply made, but i dig the coloring, and the upside downess.

Are there any downsides (hehe) to having an upside down case?

It seems like a pretty good layout that most cases should follow?
