Have 118 cores/236 threads going for you :)
I probably have more than 118 cores running but most are junk Xeon cores. nowhere near the speed of the Ryzen cores.

My random rigs scattered around the USA.

Update for y'all.

She's been done with chemo and radiation, just waiting on the next scan to see if the cancer is fully gone or if she needs more treatment. I think she's just happy her hair is coming back in.

I had to do three months of radiation. The side effects lingered for a long time. That was in 2018, it looks like I may have to go through it again later this year. I didn't get chemo but I got shots every 90 days for three years. Cancer is a genuine bitch. It's great to hear she's doing better.

On the subject of cancer: I'm well past the age barrier for what's considered a "Senior Citizen". I've lived a long, full and adventurous life. It's emotionally devastating to see young children in the cancer section lab waiting room. They haven't even had a chance to experience what would be considered a normal life and tragically many never will. They and others like them in the future will be who genuinely benefit from today's cancer and other medical research. It's for them that I volunteered to try a few experimental things in my own cancer treatment.

The hospital I go to has two machines so there's usually at least 4 or 5 people waiting to get zapped. Depending upon the size and number of areas to be treated each session can take from 10 to 30 minutes. Since mine had spread into lymph nodes they did the prostate first then the lymph nodes. It took around 20 minutes for each session. The zapping itself is painless while it's happening but skin burns are common after a while in some areas. I went through that. Fortunately I have prescription pain meds and they greatly helped.

When I was going through radiation there were two distinct groups in the radiation waiting area. Group 1 was patients who'd given up already, were angry and depressed. They kept to themselves and never spoke. They'd resolved themselves to dying and were lost causes. Group 2 was far more social and the one I was part of. Some had been through radiation a few times previously and were more or less the inspiration for us n00bs to the process. They told us how things worked and what to expect. We talked among ourselves, shared what we were going through and that not only killed time while waiting but also made the entire ordeal much easier.

For males reading this get your PSA checked at intervals recommended by your doctor. 7 or less is normal, mine was 99.9. So far I've made it 5 years and 7 months since treatment began. It's been a quite bumpy ride at times but I'm still here. I've lost 7 friends to cancer in the past two years. All were past 60 years old and fought the good fight. Now it's up to those of us still here to do whatever we can to contribute to finding a cure to this hideous disease so those children I mentioned earlier have a chance to live and our loved ones can be saved with far less physical suffering and emotional devastation many are going through today. Cancer can strike any of us at any time, I found that out the hard way. The life you save may not be only your own but those of your loved ones and countless others as well. Please do whatever you can to further cancer research and treatment.

Fortunately I have prescription pain meds and they greatly helped.

if doctors tell me I have 30% or more chance of living if I ever get diagnosed, I am going to do whatever they tell me to do. anything less than that and I already decided what I will do, I won't be like group 1, I am just going to burn my savings travel, and when I run out of money, my last plane ticket will be to the heart of Africa, and I am going to let nature take me. prob just chill with the zebras as long as I can before a lion or something gets me. either way, its going to be one hell of a ride baby, bonus points if I get to kick the ass of a few poachers before I go. hell yeah
