Advanced Gaming Power
Cleverly integrated into the Suppressor are features for when your game needs to be taken to the next level. A powerful 32-bit / 72 MHz ARM Rapid Engine is dedicated to executing macros. Up to 75 of which can be stored within 5 easily swappable profiles via built-in shortcut keys. That amounts to 15 macros per profile, ensuring there is plenty of room to customize your gaming experience within your most frequented games. Placebo effect aside, until now I've never feel I perform better using mechanical keyboard (I own MX Red K70 but sometimes using logitech membrane keyboard in office for gaming).

My Corsair K90 Mech Keyboard is really nice, but sometimes, ~~ I like to use my Apple Aluminum Keyboard for typing.

This CM keyboard seems like it will be fine for the price point.

I, for once, will probably enjoy gaming and writing with this keyboard.

Until it randomly disconnects from the PC thanks to the shoddy mini USB connected cable.
In fact the only time I ever detach the cable on my CM Storm is when it acts up and will not work properly.

I suspect that having back lit keyboard with integrated USB hub attached to one USB port is also part of the problem.
Even my cheap Lycosa has 2 USB cables and it has 1 USB port and a lot less LED's

I got it, you have a faulty CMSTORM keyboard. Been testing at least 5-6 models the past year or two and haven't had this problem.

Except it has been replaced with a brand new one twice via Amazon, so there go's that theory

Sometimes you can get unlucky. I had 2 faulty X99 motherboards (one had BIOS issues right from the start, the other was DOA). 3rd time lucky and I found one that works.

Although, my CMStorm trigger keeps disconnecting for a fraction of a second every few minutes (it doesn't really bother me though unless I'm typing up a law report or something for uni). It has been thoroughly used though so it doesn't surprise me that it is breaking.

Same thing mine does, it does really bother me when I'm in the middle of playing a game
