Every year at CES we're impressed by just how much power SFX form-factor PSUs are able to put out. Cooler Master took a crack at the power output cieling this year with its new SFX Gold family of power-supplies. These strictly-SFX power-houses come in output variants as high as 850 W. Other models include 750 W, 650 W, and 550 W. Also on offer are 80 Plus Gold efficiency, fully modular cabling, a class-leading 10-year warranty backing up the quality. An 80 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan is used to keep the units cool, which is tuned with a noise output under 25 dBA. Available from Q1-2020, the 550 W, 650 W, 750 W, and 850 W models are priced at USD $109.99, $119.99, $129.99, and $139.99, respectively.

yeah but... gold? just get that platinum or even better, Titanium rating...

ORRR lets move on from this 80+ standard to begin with

850w SFX? How far have we come with small form factors.

Nothing inherently wrong with being 80+ Gold certified.

Slight efficiency bump doesnt justify the platinum/titanium ratings due to premiums. Who needs more than 600 in a itx system? MGPU/crossfire/sli wont be used in sfx.

If the platforms were torn apart and inspected by jonnyguru, realhardtechx, orionpsu db then it might determine if cms are better than cwt/andyson (ok platforms) greatwall/sirfa/sufa (cheap utter crap) considering Seasonic/Superflower are top OEMs

You don't know much about power supplies do you?

Sufa doesn't exist, Great Wall is one of the best manufacturers en Seasonic and Super Flower are just mid class manufacturers. It looks like you confuse marketing with quality. Because Seasonic and Super Flower are small and can't compete with the high end manufacturers they focus more on marketing.
